Comprehensive Family Vision Care in San Diego

My wife and I have been patients since the practice opened. Even though our treatment began to necessitate going to specialists to address deteriorating vision, we continued to purchase eyeglasses here. In June after waiting three months for an appointment, I received an updated prescription after cataract and detached retina surgeries. The optometrist at that major health care center who provided the prescription indicated I might need an adjusted prescription, but I believed that all that would be needed would be to contact his office to receive the adjusted prescription. Long story short, that office informed me after contacting them that the new prescription was not working to wear only the new glasses for several weeks and if there were still issues to make an appointment. Out of curiosity I learned the earliest appointment would be in October. Upon contacting Scripps Poway Eyecare on a Friday afternoon, I was seen on this Tuesday morning and the issue is being addressed. Going forward if I need a new prescription I will only go to Scripps Poway Eyecare even if it means incurring an out of pocket expense. All staff listened carefully and were committed to resolving the issue. This is an office committed to patient care and that I need as a critical part of my eyecare team.
