Meet Our Doctors

Keith Wan, O.D.

Dr. Wan graduated from UCLA in 1993 with a degree in Physiological Sciences. He then earned his doctorate in Optometry from UC Berkeley. He has a clinical interest in fitting contact lenses and medically indicated contact lenses for conditions such as keratoconus, high myopia, high astigmatism, and anisometropia. Dr. Wan also has an emphasis for the treatment of ocular disease, such as corneal diseases and diabetic retinopathy. Therapeutic privileges are utilized with the ability to prescribe topical steroids, antibiotics, and systemic medications. He also participates in laser refractive surgery co-management and post refractive surgical care for patients. Dr. Wan was named America's Top Optometrist for 2006 and 2007 by the Consumers Research Council of America.

Jay Mashouf, O.D.

Dr. Mashouf graduated from UCSD in 1992 with a B.A. in Chemistry. A year later he decided to return to school and earned his doctorate from the UC Berkeley in Optometry. He participates in laser refractive surgery co-management and post refractive surgical care, the management of eye disease, the fitting of specialty contact lenses, and sports vision for patients. San Diego Magazine recently named him one of San Diego's Top Doctors for 2006, the second consecutive year he has been so honored. Dr. Mashouf resides in Poway with his wife and two young sons.

Dr. Tram Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. in Nutritional Science with emphasis in Metabolism and Physiology in 2007. She then earned her doctorate from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2011. Dr. Nguyen is certified in therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and the treatment and management of glaucoma. Before optometry school, Dr. Nguyen volunteered in Bihar, India, with Unite for Sight, a non-profit global eye health organization. Her humbling experiences in India reaffirmed her passion and care for the overall well-being of her patients and her devotion towards making a difference in the lives of others with the gift of sight.
Dr. Nguyen is a San Diego native. When she's not working, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her family and friends. She is also fluent in Vietnamese.

JINGYI TAN, O.D.

Dr. Tan graduated from Duke University in 2002 with a double major in Biology and Asian and African Languages and Literature. She was then awarded the Trustees Scholarship and earned her doctorate from Illinois College of Optometry in 2006. Dr. Tan is licensed to treat glaucoma and has full therapeutic privileges for prescribing topical and systemic medications. She has a passion for fitting contact lenses and participating in refractive surgery co-management, especially since personally undergoing LASIK in 2012. She is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
